Environmental Sample

This is a Gen Bank feature indicating that the sequence has been obtained from the environment (cloning or direct amplification), no attempt to give a name to the micro-organism has been made.

The corresponding database has been set up for our colleagues working on biodiversity and metagenomics. Dont use it for identification purposes !

The original situation of the sample is extracted (with some difficulties) from Gen Bank, and of course information may be simplified or truncated.
